    QUESTION:

Why am I receiving the following errors during the startup of the SVOS started task for MainView SRM?  SVM0050E VALUE FOR KEYWORD: SGP_EXITBBS IS MISSING OR INVALID SVM0056E LINE IN ERROR: SGP_EXITBBS=30 SVM0036E MEMBER IN ERROR: SMMSYS00 SVO0400E PROGRAM SVOSTART HAD A RETURN CODE X'010' SVO0629E MAINVIEW SRM SVOS 7.9.00 HAS BEEN STOPPED ON ETIS

    ANSWER:

Please check the value specified in the SGP_EXITBBS global parameter.

With the install of BPG7625 for 7.8 or BPG7627 for 7.9, the default value of the SGP_EXITBBS global parameter was changed from 15MB to 50MB.
The HOLD data for the PTFs states that if the SGP_EXITBBS parameter is used, they must choose a value of 50 or greater.
If they specify a value less than 50, they will see the following error messages during SVOS startup:

    SVM0056E LINE IN ERROR: SGP_EXITBBS=30
    SVM0036E MEMBER IN ERROR: SMMSYSxx

If you have received these errors, update the SGP_EXITBBS parameter to a value that is equal to or greater than 50,  but less than 200, then restart SVOS.
