Remedyforce Why are Input Fields Marked Hidden Not Displayed in the Remedyforce Console?

    QUESTION:

    Why are input fields marked hidden not displayed in the Remedyforce Console?


    ANSWER:

    Service request input fields that are marked as hidden are designed not to be edited. Input fields marked as hidden will not display in the Remedyforce Console if the staff user's assigned profile has the "Enable editing of submitted service requests" option enabled in Remedyforce Administration > Application Settings > Console. Input fields marked as hidden will be displayed in the Remedyforce Console to staff users with an assigned profile that do not have the "Enable editing of submitted service requests" option enabled.
