Too many notifications from Knowledge Articles?

    Today some of our members reported that their inboxes got flooded with notifications related to knowledge articles.   


    What happened


    We have an automation in place to copy/sync public knowledge articles to Communities. Usually all these activities happen behind the scenes without firing any notifications, but yesterday a huge batch-sync resulted in sending out notifications to those members who follow Knowledge Admin, or product communities in their inbox.


    Next Steps


    Our tech team is working on finding the root cause for notifications going out; we shall have an update for you soon. Meanwhile, please stop following Knowledge Admin account; don't let the points trick you - it is a bot. Also it is recommended NOT to follow product communities (especially the busy ones) in your inboxes, so you can avoid noise and focus on what's most important.
