    QUESTION:

Why does a Control-M Smart Folder have a NOTOK status when one job changes to Post ODAT after mini New Day or when selecting Set OK on multiple jobs?

    ANSWER:

For a Post ODAT job the Smart Folder ends OK only when all the jobs that belongs to the Smart Folder have been submitted and ended OK.
Post ODAT is not considered to have ended yet and thus the Smart Folder has not ended.
In any other situation (job ends NOTOK, job has not been submitted, etc), the Smart Folder will end NOTOK.

Regarding Set OK, the following defect is related:
CAR00052799 - When Force or Set OK multiple jobs belonging to a SMART Folder using the ctmpsm utility or selecting multiple jobs from the EM GUI, sometimes the SMART Folder state is not updated properly.

Until it is implemented, please perform the following steps:
Do not force OK all jobs at once. Force all of them excepted one job. When all forced jobs are post processed OK, force the last job to OK status.
