    PROBLEM:

    When running a Report in the Control-M Reporting Facility the following error message appears:

    Query Engine: 'ADO Error Code: 0x80004005
    Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers
    Description: [Oracle}[ODBC] Invalid datetime format.
    SQL State: 22007'

    The following messages can be found in the reportcli_diag log:

    Error Code = 80047e42
    Error Message = IDispatch error #31810
    Source = Crystal Reports ActiveX Designer
    Description = Query Engine Error: 'ADO Error Code: 0x80004005
    Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers
    Description: [Oracle][ODBC]Invalid datetime format.
    SQL State: 22007'


    CAUSE:

    CAR00157432 which requires an update of the JDBC driver used for Oracle.


    SOLUTION:

    CAR00157432 has been resolved in version 9.0.18

    For version 9.0.00 you can install Patch 529 on top of Fix Pack 5 to resolve the issue.
    Contact BMC Support to obtain the patch if you are unable to upgrade to version 9.0.18
