    QUESTION:

Why "Authorize SSH Host" function doesn’t allow entry any value in "Host Name" field for Control-M for Advanced File Transfer(AFT) 8.2?

    ANSWER:

Some changes have been made related to this "Authorize SSH Host" feature in Control-M for Advanced File Transfer(AFT) 8.2.

From this version on, there is no need to Authorize the SSH host at the first connection, AFT will authorize it automatically and will create an entry for this host under <Agent_home>\CM\AFT\data\known_hosts file.

In case the fingerprint of this host was changed and there is a need to authorize it again, it will appear in the drop down list for the Host Name field.

There is no need to manually type the host name.

All hosts that were already automatically authorized will be displayed in this drop down list.
