    QUESTION:

    How to reset Ticket Numbering in Track-It! 20.xx


    ANSWER:

    In order to set ticket numbering or setting starting reference number for tickets in Track-It! 20.xx, please follow below procedure:

    1.Take backup of Track-It! database.
    2.Then run below query against Track-It! database.(In below query replace 'XX' with required numbering digits)

    update [TrackIt].[dbo].[SMSYSRECNUM] set RECNUM ='XX' where NAME = '_TELMASTE_'

    Note-
    To reset starting reference number of ticket as 101, then in above query replace 'XX' with '100'.
