ServiceContext Plugin Missing after update to 9.0.01 The specified plug-in does not exist. :BMC.ARDBC.ATRIUM.SERVICECONTEXT (ARERR 8755)

    PROBLEM:

     

    After login into Remedy the following error message appears:
    The specified plug-in does not exist.

      

    :BMC.ARDBC.ATRIUM.SERVICECONTEXT (ARERR 8755)


     

     


    CAUSE:

    The Server-Plugin-Alias entries for all atrium plugins with the exception of the normalisation engine set in the ar.cfg are pointing to the wrong port, 7502.  The Atrium Shared plugin runs on port 9556.


    SOLUTION:

     

    Update the port reference for the following Server-Plugin-Alias entries to 9556:

    Server-Plugin-Alias: BMC.ARDBC.ATRIUM.API BMC.ARDBC.ATRIUM.API <Server-Name>:9556
    Server-Plugin-Alias: DSM.FILTER DSM.FILTER <Server-Name>:9556
    Server-Plugin-Alias: BMC.ARDBC.ATRIUM.SERVICECONTEXT BMC.ARDBC.ATRIUM.SERVICECONTEXT <Server-Name>:9556
    Server-Plugin-Alias: BMC.FILTERAPI.EVENT_ENGINE BMC.FILTERAPI.EVENT_ENGINE <Server-Name>:9556
    Server-Plugin-Alias: BMC.ARDBC.DEPRECATION.PLUGIN BMC.ARDBC.DEPRECATION.PLUGIN <Server-Name>1:9556
    Server-Plugin-Alias: BMC.ARDBC.ATRIUM.AIS BMC.ARDBC.ATRIUM.AIS <Server-Name>:9556
    Server-Plugin-Alias: BMC.FILTERAPI.NOE BMC.FILTERAPI.NOE <Server-Name>:9556
    (NOTE** this was a standalone ARServer)

      


    Restart the ARServer
