    PROBLEM:

    After upgrading to DWP 1805 the share url used in DWP 1802 is not working anymore when using secondaryserver setup which is newly installed in cluster

    This issue is happening for upgrading to DWP 1805 only, by following the below steps:
    1.    Run installer in upgrade mode on primary server in the current environment  (this will upgrade from 1802 to 1805 it has references of old ux folders and new dwp folders after upgrade)

    2.    Select the option to upgrade only DWP and move DWP Business and System Schema to new RDBMS -Migrate DWP mongo data to DWP RDBMS

    3.    Add new nodes with 18.05 DWP to the cluster by running 18.05 installer on a fresh new system (new node) , select adding node to existing cluster on all the new nodes.

    5.    Update dwp-connect.properties values from the primary server to the new servers

    The share url work only on the primary upgraded server (which is containing old MyIT_Smart_IT folder).
    On all the new servers added to the cluster the share url is not working.

    Below you can find examples of share urls of a Knowledge Article from DWP 1802 and DWP 1805:

    DWP 1802 : (This URL works even if upgraded to 1805 as this primary server has references of old ux and new dwp folders)

    http://primaryservername:9000/ux/rest/share/OJSXG33VOJRWKSLEHVFUER2KJE3UMOKFLBHFKSKBJ44TAVKWGRHTQNKEINHFSRJQGMTHEZLTN52XEY3FKR4XAZJ5KJFU2JTUMVXGC3TUJFSD2MBQGAYDAMBQGAYDAMBQGAYDCJTQOJXXM2LEMVZFG33VOJRWKTTBNVST24TLNU======

    DWP 1805 : (This URL below does not work as the secondary server is added as a fresh new server installing 1805 direct selecting existsing cluster option hence it does not have old UX folder reference and just has new dwp folder reference)

    http://secondaryservername:8080/dwp/rest/share/OJSXG33VOJRWKSLEHVFUER2KJE3UMOKFLBHFKSKBJ44TAVKWGRHTQNKEINHFSRJQGMTHEZLTN52XEY3FKR4XAZJ5KJFU2JTUMVXGC3TUJFSD2MBQGAYDAMBQGAYDAMBQGAYDCJTQOJXXM2LEMVZFG33VOJRWKTTBNVST24TLNU======

    SOLUTION:

    To resolve the issue perform below steps,

    1.) Copy xxxx:\Program Files\BMC Software\Smart_IT_MyIT\DWP\ux-switch from primary server to secondary server

    2.) Copy xxxx:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat8.5\conf\Catalina\localhost\ux.xml from primary to secondary server

    3.) Now check the path for ux-switch in ux.xml file located at xxxxx:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Tomcat8.5/conf/Catalina/localhost/ux.xml
    This will refer to `xxx:\Program Files\BMC Software\Smart_IT_MyIT\DWP\ux-switch` however such a path does not exist (it should corrected to ` xxxx:\Program Files\BMC Software\DWP\DWP\ux-switch`).

    Example How This will be set and look: docBase="xxxxx:\Program Files\BMC Software\DWP\DWP\ux-switch"

    4.) Go to `xxxx:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat8.5\external-conf and check if ux-switch.properties file exist or not if it does not exists then place this file there in external-conf and set ux-switch.smartit.installed=true into this file.

    5.) Place some dummy webapp under xxx:\Program Files\BMC Software\DWP\DWP\dummy_smartit_app and create xxxxx:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Tomcat8.5/conf/Catalina/localhost/smartit.xml file to point to that webapp to have ux-switch working.

    Example How This will be set and look: docBase="xxxxx:\Program Files\BMC Software\DWP\DWP\dummy_smartit_app"

    6.) Copy the ux folder from primary server xxxxx:\Program Files\BMC Software\Smart_IT_MyIT\Smart_IT_MyIT

    To

    Secondary Server xxxx:\Program Files\BMC Software\DWP\DWP

    7.) Restart DWP Tomcat of Secondary Server.

    Try to lauch the URL and it should open the share URL from secondary server which is setup in cluster using old Share URL.
