    QUESTION:

When doing a Post command, such as "move" or "copy" with Control-M Advanced File Transfer and the Local CM, what user id is used?

    ANSWER:

When the Control-M for AFT uses the Local CM option,  the user that the Agent Service runs as, is used for any local commands such as "copy" or "move".
This includes any Pre-commands or Post-commands that are executed.
In the Job definition, there is not a Runas user for the Agent Control Module to run as, so it defaults to the user the Agent is running as at the OS level.
If there is a need to have a Pre-Command or Post-Command run as a specific user, then a Named Agent will need to be installed, and the Agent run as that user.
