    QUESTION:

    What to do when Prompted for Credentials after the Clicking the CM Icon from the Remedyforce CMDB Console


    ANSWER:

    If prompted enter the org and password used in the Discovery Setup and Configuration.

    The Discovery Setup and Configuration is located: Remedyforce Administration >> Configure CMDB 2.0 >> Discovery Setup and Configuration >> Enable BMC Remedyforce Discovery will be checked.  If you do not remember the password Click Reset Password and a link will be sent to the Remedyforce Administrator to reset the password.  To find the org id: Go to Salesforce Setup >> Company Profile >> Company Information >> Org ID will is located 3rd from the bottom in the right column.

    The CM icon will only be enabled if the BMC Remedyforce Client Management Premium or Premium Plus license has been purchased.  The CM icon is disabled when using the free version of Discovery/Client Management.  To determine the license: Remedyforce Administration >> Configure CMDB 2.0 >> Discovery Setup and Configuration >> Look under BMC Remedyforce Discovery License Details.

    NOTE: Each time you launch the CM console from the Remedyforce CMDB tab you will be prompted to download a new JNLP.  This is working as designed.
