    How to Enable Managed Package Encryption for Remedyforce Fields


    ANSWER:

    To Enable Encryption for Managed Package Field:

       
    1. Process can take from 3  - 5 Business Days
    2.  
    3. Purchase Salesforce Shield.  Once purchased and enabled under Security Controls there will be a section Platform Encryption
    4.  
    5. Configure the encryption profile/user

    7. Generate the encryption key and store it in a safe location

    11. Encrypt the fields as per the Remedyforce documentation
