    APPLIES TO:

Control-M/Server for UNIX and Microsoft Windows all versions

    PROBLEM:

Jobs and Smart folder are not deleted from AJF ( Active Job file ) in Control-M, even though its "Keep active" value is exceed and whatever status the job/smart folder has.

It does´t matter if you hold/release/delete the job, the job is not removed by the New Day

    CAUSE:

CAR00175102 - New Day (clean AJF) does not clean deleted SMART folders that are defined with DAYSKEEPINNOTOK

    SOLUTION:

CAR00175102 has been created to track this issue and will be implemented in a future version.
Until it is implemented, use the following steps to resolve.

    1) Undelete the job/smart folder from the Control-M/Enterprise Manager Monitoring Domain
    2) Set the field Keep Days is NOT OK to zero
    3) Save and delete again.

NOTE: Do not set the Job or Smart folder to an OK status before deleting.
Otherwise the Smart folder will stay in a HOLD status.
