    PROBLEM:

    In Smart IT 2.0, when users search with a wildcard character in the beginning of the search string, system does not fetch any results.

    This a change implemented in Smart IT 2.0 as a way to prevent performance issues users were experiencing due to searches returning large result sets, due to wildcard characters in the beginning of the search string.Its documented in the user story.

    CAUSE:

    DRSMX-3266


    SOLUTION:

    This a change implemented in Smart IT 2.0 as a way to prevent performance issues users were experiencing due to searches returning large result sets, due to wildcard characters in the beginning of the search string.Its documented in the user story.

    Also, confirm if the search record that you are looking for is present in the system, open the particular module, For ex., If you are searching for a change request ,
    as %5678, do a search in the Infrastructure change form and make sure you are able to see the record, that narrows down the problem to the wildcard prefix in Smart IT 2.0.
