    QUESTION:

    Can the GMTOFF used in the UIE job be found as a field anywhere in the visualizer database tables?

    ANSWER:

    Yes in both the CPINTVL and CPLSYSD tables.

     In the CPINTVL table a monthly summary type row named TZO_A is saved that contains the Time Zone Adjust value that was used in UIE.

    The value is in + or - minutes so you would divide by 60 to get the hours.  So in the above example the -300 divided by 60 would be a time zone offset of -5.  You can also see the same value in each visfile near the beginning of the file under the T;INTVL section.

    There is also a GMTOffset  column in the CPLSYSD table.  This column is on every dynamic system record so it can easily used in sql to select this value.  Below is a sample sql script to display the Offset info from the CPLSYSD table...

    SELECT CPINTVL.Int_start_date
           ,CPINTVL.Int_start_time
           ,CPLSYSS.System_alias
          ,CPLSYSS.Phys_system
          ,CPLSYSD.CPU_Util
          ,CPLSYSD.CPU_Queue
          ,CPLSYSD.GMTOffset
      FROM CPLSYSD, CPLSYSS, CPINTVL
      WHERE CPLSYSD.SYSTEMS = CPLSYSS.INDEXX
           AND CPLSYSD.INTVL = CPINTVL.INDEXX
           AND CPINTVL.Int_start_date = '20/02/11'
           AND CPLSYSS.System_alias = 'SYSP';
