Use WebHook in TrueSight Intelligence

Version 2

We are excited to introduce you to our newest feature, WebHooks. The concept of a WebHook is simple. A WebHook is an HTTP callback: an HTTP POST that occurs when something happens; a simple event-notification via HTTP POST.  WebHooks are a way to receive valuable information when it happens, rather than continually polling for that data and receiving nothing valuable most of the time. Using these, you will be able to communicate with any products out there that also feature a REST interface. Also, this feature is in line with already existing powerful capabilities in the product. Abnormalities with Dynamic Baselines, Static Thresholds, NLP Based Clustering, Multi Variate Abnormality Detection, Event to Metric capability, Forecasting and What-If Analysis etc.

The Webhook functionality is available under the Action Blade, which can be set up in combination with Alarm. We will also be extending this capability to open Problem Tickets based on Clustering, part of ProActive Problem Management which will also be available shortly and be addressed in a different blog post.
