    Truesight Server Automation (TSSA) Windows Patch Deploy Job fails with exit code 2359302 captured in <agent>/Transactions/log/bldeploy-xxx.log.

    e.g. Command returned non-zero exit code: 2359302





    Patch remediation may have been attempted while server is in Pending Reboot state

    This error will be encountered if a patch has previously been installed (via TSSA or otherwise) but the target server was not subsequently rebooted.

    This results in the patch remediation job failing because the patch is already installed on the target server but was listed as missing in the Patch Analysis results due to the pending reboot.

    Converting the decimal error code 2359302 to hexadecimal returns 0x240006  (see KA 000160745 and Video for details on conversion)

    Looking up this hexadecimal error code on https://docs.microsoft.com/de-de/security-updates/windowsupdateservices/18127393 returns:

    0x240006WU_S_ALREADY_INSTALLEDThe update to be installed is already installed on the system.

    To resolve this issue,


    •Reboot the target server(s) and rerun the TSSA Patch Analysis job. The status of the patch that failed to install should be updated from Missing Patch to Installed Patch.
