SRM The new line is ignored in the text when you add in SRM activity

    PROBLEM:

    Problem : Go to Request Entry console , click on the Details of the service request and enter the text below and click on Add

    New line

    Once the above text is added in Activity log it will look as below

    Please note :The text format (with next line) is ignored when you hit Add


    CAUSE:

    This filed as a defect SW00530555


    SOLUTION:

    Workaround :

    A) Please perform the steps for the active link SRS:RQD:WorkInfo_tbl_GetActivityDetails_100_PopulateViewField as per the document attached

    OR

    B) Take backup of your existing active link "SRS:RQD:WorkInfo_tbl_GetActivityDetails_100_PopulateViewField"  , Import the attached(fixed) .def of active link "SRS:RQD:WorkInfo_tbl_GetActivityDetails_100_PopulateViewField" , flush the mid-tier cache and local browser history
