How to upgrade RSSO Agent on TSPS and TSIM

    QUESTION:

    How to upgrade RSSO Agent on TSPS and TSIM


    ANSWER:

    Before you begin.
    Back up the following files from the Presentation Server and Infrastructure management Server to any folder outside the installation directories:
     
    TSPS

       
    • Backup the “domain-entry.jsp” from \truesightpserver\modules\tomcat\webapps\ROOT
    •  
    • Backup existing “rsso-agent-all.jar-9.1.03.001.jar” from \truesightpserver\modules\tomcat\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF\
    •  
    • Backup the “rsso-agent.properties” from \truesightpserver\modules\tomcat\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF\classes 
       TSIM  
       
    • Backup the “domain-entry.jsp” from \pw\tomcat\webapps\pronto
    •  
    • Backup the “rsso-agent-all.jar” from \pw\tomcat\webapps\pronto\WEB-INF\lib
    •  
    • Backup the “rsso-agent.properties” from \pw\tomcat\webapps\pronto\WEB-INF\classes
      
        
      
      Download the following jar files to your Presentation Server and Infrastructure Management Server respectively: 
      
             
       To apply the Jar files for Remedy SSO to the Presentation Server
    Note: If you are using a high-availability deployment, you must perform these steps on both the Primary and Secondary servers in that order.
       
       
    • Stop the Presentation Server with command "tssh server stop". 
    •  
    • From the command prompt, navigate to \truesightpserver\modules\tomcat\webapps\ROOT à Delete existing “domain-entry.jsp” and replace with downloaded file “domain-entry.jsp”.
    •  
    • From the command prompt, navigate \truesightpserver\modules\tomcat\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF\lib   à Delete existing “rsso-agent-all.jar-9.1.03.001.jar” and replace with downloaded file “rsso-agent-all.jar-9.1.04.001.jar”.
    •  
    • From the command prompt, navigate \truesightpserver\modules\tomcat\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF\classes à Delete existing “rsso-agent.properties” and replace with downloaded file “rsso-agent.properties” (need to enable MSP flag in case of multi-tenant).
    •  
    • Start the Presentation Server with command  "tssh server start"
    •  
    • Login to the TSPS console 
        
    To apply the Jar files for Remedy SSO to the Infrastructure Management Server
    Note: If you are using a high-availability deployment, you must perform these steps on both the Primary and Secondary servers in that order.  
       
    • Stop the Infrastructure Management Server with below command.
                 pw sys stop  
       
    • From the command prompt, navigate to \pw\tomcat\webapps\pronto à Delete existing “domain-entry.jsp” and replace with downloaded file “domain-entry.jsp”
    •  
    • From the command prompt, navigate to \pw\tomcat\webapps\pronto\WEB-INF\lib à Delete existing “rsso-agent-all.jar” and replace with downloaded file “rsso-agent-all.jar”.
    •  
    • From the command prompt, navigate to \pw\tomcat\webapps\pronto\WEB-INF\classes à Delete existing “rsso-agent.properties” and replace with downloaded file “rsso-agent.properties”
    •  
    • Start the Infrastructure Management Server.
                pw sys start  
       
    • Once TSIM is completely up and connected in TSPS then try to login on TSIM Operational Console.
