    PRODUCT:

    Control-M for z/OS

    COMPONENT:

    Control-M for z/OS

    APPLIES TO:

    version 9

    PROBLEM:

Due to performance concerns, Auto Edit (AE) variables which are loaded to the Control-M cache (i.e. variable which are set from within one of the Control-M cache members pointed by parameter AECACHL in CTMPARM) are not resolved at order time. As a result, variables which are resolved at order time (e.g. variables included in condition names) are not resolved if the variables are to be found in the Control-M cache.

This APAR allows using AE variables from the Control-M cache at order time by setting CTMPARM parameter LDCAEORD to Y (the default remains as NO).

Use care when setting LDCAEORD to Y as the job ordering process performance may be degraded by this change.
