    SOLUTION:

    Legacy ID:KA409042

    Cause:
    The root cause of this issue is an env issue with locating required libraries.

    Solution:

    A) Verify the blauth Linux OS user is functioning correctly:

    1. Login to reports host as "root"
    2. Run below command and see if you can login:

    [root@reports-host-name /]# su - blauth
    -sh-4.1$ whoami
    blauth
    -sh-4.1$
    -sh-4.1$ exit
    [root@reports-host-name /]#
    [root@reports-host-name /]# which su
    /bin/su
    [root@reports-host-name /]#

    B) If the above functions correctly, then move on to modifying the LD_LIBRARY_PATH:

    1) Backup the $BLREPORTS_HOME/Environment file.
    2) Add "/lib64:/lib" to the beginning of the "LD_LIBRARY_PATH" value.

    Example:

    LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/bmc/bladelogic/reports/lib64:path2:path3

    The modified looks like:

    LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/lib64:/lib/opt/bmc/bladelogic/reports/lib64:path2:path3

    3) Source the Environment file and then reattempt the service restart.
