    QUESTION:

     1. Is My IT Service Broker renamed to BMC Digital Workplace Catalog or a different product?

     2. Do we need to install My IT Service Broker before installing the BMC Digital Workplace Catalog?
     ==>My IT Service Broker is same as BMC Digital Workplace Catalog
         
     3. Can't we create Service Bundles for SRM requests in BMC Digital Workplace (Advanced) Solution we have currently without the DW Catalog Installation?      
     ==>You have to install BMC Digital Workplace Catalog and then create the service bundles and banners.
     
     4. As mentioned in the document, do we need to perform the BMC Digital Workplace Catalog only on Linux Server or can we do on Windows?
    ==> You have to install BMC Digital Workplace Catalog on  Linux only.

     5. Why do we need two databases for the BMC Digital Workplace Catalog? As per the documentation, one is for the application server and the other for tenant data. Will it not use Smart IT/My IT Database (mongo db ) as the Application Server?
    ==> Mongo DB is used by MyIT to store the social data. BMC Digital Workplace Catalog will need separate Database.

     6. Incase if we need BMC Digital Workplace Catalog to enhance the Advanced Catalog,  Is this the only installer we need to run or do we need to perform any additional installations to enhance the Catalog.
    ==>Yes, you will need to install BMC Digital Workplace Catalog.

    7. As per the documentation, as a required component we need ITSM 8.1 version and above and an approval patch. Currently, we have the approval engine. Is that sufficient or do we need any other approval patch?
    ==>You have to install the patch


    8. As discussed on call you will have 5000 MyIT users accessing MyIT and using service broker services and 500 smartIT users , 10 service broker users, do you need to have a seprate MSSQL server?
    ==> You currently have one MSSQL server instance which has two separate Databases (1. ARSystem database and 2. SmartIT database) , you can use this same MSSQL instance and create separate  3rd Database for BMC Digital Workplace Catalog, this will *not* impact the performance for MyIT/SmartIT users.


    9. How do you find which version string you are using?
    To find out the version of SB you are running, enter the following URL in your browser: 
    3.2: http://<server url>:8008/api/myitsbe/version
