    QUESTION:

I want all my new packages to have the archive type set to "PKG" by default.

I want all my new packages to have the archive type set to "ZIP" by default.

    ANSWER:

    - select your packager either in search/topology/device group node
    - go to Agent Configuration > Module Configuration then set "Archive file extension" to "pkg" for the type of package module you are interested in:

      - Custom Packages
    - MSI Packages
    - Snapshot Packages

You can also update this by setting the parameter "PackageExtension=" to "PackageExtension=pkg" in the files ../config/Packager*.ini. Doà not forget to restart the service of the agent after this update of the configuration file.
