    PRODUCT:

    Control-M/Enterprise Manager

    COMPONENT:

    Control-M/Enterprise Manager

    APPLIES TO:

    Control-M/Enterprise Manager 8.0.00 Control-M/Enterprise Manager 9.0.00

    PROBLEM:

Why some jobs statistics seem to be missing in the RUNINFO_HISTORY table near the New Day time ?
Some jobs assigned to user daily have terminated before the active job file download step, and their statistics
are not reported  in the RUNINFO_HISTORY table .

    CAUSE:

This is the intended behavior to prevent job updated from interfering the new day processing.

    SOLUTION:

In the time slot between new day ends and the download begins, jobs are submitted,
but job updates are not sent to the Control-M/Enterprise Manager gateway since the connectivity between the
Control-M/Server and the Control-M/Enterprise Manager gateway is operationnal after the download step.

This issue should rarely affect some production as these potential problematic jobs should end very quickly ( few seconds).
In case the statistics need to be saved , the parameter submit between must be set for these problematic jobs so that the job
starts after the AJF download time.
