    PRODUCT:

    Control-M for Databases

    COMPONENT:

    Control-M for Databases

    APPLIES TO:

    Control-M for Databases 9.0.00

    PROBLEM:

The following error is received when trying to define a job.

    Request rejected by Data Center
CTM5311 CONTROL-M for Databases: DB0001 = com.bmc.ctm.cmsql.exception.SsisServiceVersionException: CONTROL-M for Databases: DB0001 = Database version defined in the account doesn t match the SSIS Service version on the CONTROL-M/Agent host.

    CAUSE:

Incorrect version in connection profile, or SQL Server permissions

    SOLUTION:

    1.  Open the Control-M Configuration Manager (CCM)
    2.  Right click on the Control-M for Databases entry and select Connection Profiles.
    3.  Verify the MSSQL version is set correctly in the Connection Profile from the job definition.

    4.  Make sure the user defined in the Connection Profile has access in MSSQL to run SSIS packages.
    5.  Verify that the SSIS package is actually running on the same environment.
For example, it might have been designed on a development environment, but for a production environment, another user is needed.

    6.  Check the SSIS package in the Properties, and set the Protection Level to "Dont SaveSensitive".
Consult the MSSQL DBA to verify that this is acceptable.
