Accepting nominations for Remedy with Smart IT 1.5.01 Release Preview Program

 


This is your opportunity to engage directly with the Smart IT product experts, to preview the almost final bits of the upcoming Smart IT 1.5.01 release, and to provide feedback to BMC about functionality, usability, and quality. The program is expected to start around mid-October and is open to all current Remedy ITSM customers and partners. Smart IT 1.5.01 introduces new capabilities and refinements to presently supported personas.

 

You can participate in the release preview program by reviewing the new feature demonstrations by the product team and also by providing your feedback through the participation via weekly calls and BMC community.

 

What's needed from you?

 

  • Attendance in weekly calls on Oct. 19th and Oct. 26th; details to follow.
  • Willingness to collaborate with BMC and other customer and to provide open feedback

Beta Program for

TrueSight Capacity Optimization 10.7

Starting in Late-July

 

TrueSight Capacity Optimization 10.7 is next release after version 10.7 planned for the Oct’2016 timeframe.

The BETA Program for TrueSight Capacity Optimization 10.7 will focus on the following major themes:

 

1. Infrastructure views in TrueSight Console– The best practice infrastructure views such as AIX, vSphere, Hyper-V, XenServer and KVM will be available on TrueSight UI. Users will be able to access the TSCO’s infrastructure views via web browser or a mobile device like a tablet.

 

2. Custom Views in TrueSight Console – The ability to develop your custom views using TSCO OOTB templates to provide your customers capacity information. Custom Views will be available on TrueSight UI, so your users will be able to access your customized views via web browser or a mobile device like a tablet.

 

3. Enhanced Data Explorer in viewsThe Aix infrastructure Data explorer view has been updated to support process and workload level for the beta test.  You will be able gain historical insight into the processes and workloads that are consuming capacity.

 

There are several benefits in participating to TrueSight Capacity Optimization 10.7 Beta Program, such as the opportunity to test new features and capabilities, be in a better position to fully leverage them once released and, more importantly, to provide early feedbacks for future product enhancements based on your needs and real-world experience.

Participating to the Beta Program requires minimal effort!

The Beta Program has been designed to minimize your efforts and make your participation more valuable. We offer a cloud based Beta environment for you trying out aforementioned themes - without any implementation or data integration in your environment.

The Track-It! Developers Circle build will be updated soon to include new features and we are looking for members to actively test the new functionality and participate in feedback sessions with R&D and Product Management.

 

This is your opportunity to engage directly with Track-It! product experts, to validate parts of the upcoming Track-It! release and to provide feedback about functionality, usability and quality. This phase is expected to start in early June 2016 and is open to all current Track-It! Developers Circle members.

What’s new in the June 2016 Developers Circle refresh build:

 

  • Incident/Work Order has been renamed to the more commonly used "Ticket"
  • Grid view customization has been improved
  • Self-Service has been updated to support translated fields for other languages
  • Form Customization has been further stabilized
  • Print preview button has been added to the forms
  • Reports module has been further refined to allow creating/editing/updating of reports for Tickets, Assignments, Solutions and Administrative data
  • Scheduled Reports have been added to this update
  • Business rules have been refined and expression support has been added
  • Outgoing Email Notifications are now supported

What is Remedy 9.5?

 

In this release, the Remedy Platform delivers the brand new Remedy Innovation Suite to empower developers and business analysts to collaboratively create smart, powerful enterprise apps with stunning user experiences. Included in the suite is the Innovation SDK, which enables developers to

rapidly build Smart Apps on the Remedy platform using Java, Javascript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS and REST APIs. The Innovation SDK also provides a framework for creating reusable components from custom code, allowing developers to extend the platform, and easily share custom logic or REST based integrations. Additionally, Remedy Innovation Suite includes a new visual design tool, Innovation Studio, to give business analysts the power to create business logic or user interfaces and enhance the data models of Smart Apps without writing code.

 

What’s New in Remedy 9.5?

  • Remedy Innovation Suite: includes the Innovation SDK, Innovation Studio and a new Connector framework.
  • Build new Smart Apps using Java, JavaScript, AngularJS, CSS, HTML and REST APIs with the Remedy Innovation SDK
  • Leverage a build once, use many times approach to external integrations with the new Connector framework
  • Reuse and share with the community by bundling code, definitions, and data in to a shared library

Accepting nominations for MyIT 3.2 Early Preview Program

 

This is your opportunity to engage directly with the MyIT product experts to get an early preview of the upcoming MyIT 3.2 release and to provide feedback to BMC about functionality, usability and quality. The program is expected to start mid May and is open to all current MyIT customers and partners.

 

MyIT 3.2 introduces some exciting new features, covering the entire self service use cases in the application. catalog browsing, discovery and tracking. We are also planning to add some refinements and polish to existing capabilities.

 

You can participate in the early preview program by reviewing the enhancements of the MyIt 3.2 version in a hosted environment.

Looking for Member/s of Security, and Operations (SecOps) Teams who is using or evaluating Bladelogic Portal, Cloud/DCA

 

What is it?

 

1:1 hour session lead by our bmc UX designers. The aim is to:

  1. 1) Understand more about Security and Operations day to day roles and activities as they pertain to managing and fixing vulnerabilities.
  2. 2) Get feedback on proposed designs for automating the vulnerability management

remediation process.

  1. 3) Understand what each type of user (Security and Operations) would most like to see in the forms of a dashboard related to Vulnerability Management, and which information adds most value to their daily jobs.
  2. 4)      Identify which concepts should be adopted and to gather feedback for improvement.

 

  • One-on-one remote interview sessions (OR remotely in a survey form)
  • Users will be shown designs and asked for feedback.
  • Participants may be given tasks to interact with the designs as well.

 

When is it?

 

Available 1 hour 1:1 Sessions January 11th, 2016  -  January 22nd, 2016 

 

Who Qualifies?

 

You qualify for this study if you are:

  • Using Bladelogic Portal, OR you are evaluating it and be interested to adopt when this new functionality comes out.
  • member of security team, focusing on communicating vulnerabilities that must be fixed
  • Or/And -
  • A member of operations team, tasked with scheduling and fixing vulnerabilities

 

Your role may or may not be Manager, Admin, Scheduler, Operator, or Application Developer

 

What you need for the 1:1 sessions?

 

UC, (Universal Console or desktop) the location for the sessions will be done remotely using WebEx. You will receive an email with instructions to log in.
