It’s February, and many of us have already broken our resolutions. Thankfully trends are not as fickle.


In a recent interview, Simon King, Director of the Service Support product line at BMC, shared his expertiseon 2012 Service Management Trends and predictions for what proves to be an exciting year…


From the interview, King reveals that at the core of ITSM, the two biggest focuses will be on service costing, and service levels management.


The introduction of mobility to IT is another area to consider as managing IT on mobile devices grows, and managing mobile devices deployed into the marketplace becomes a factor.


Expectations for form factor and usability will also be key, as simpler, “always on” applications -- and the ability to use them easily-- will be a game changer for this year.
