IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are using BMC Remedyforce with BMC Client Management on premises, you will want to wait to apply this patch until you have upgraded to Remedyforce Winter19, otherwise you will not be able to launch the BCM console from Remedyforce.
If you use BMC FootPrints with BMC Client Management, you must wait until the release of BMC FootPrints version 20.19.01 before upgrading to BMC Client Management 12.8 patch 2 in order to launch the BCM console from BMC FootPrints.
The current releases of BMC Footprints and BMC Remedyforce are not compatible with BMC Client Management 12.8 patch 2, due to the introduction of the new BMC Client Management web start installer.
A new patch for BMC Client Management versions 12.8, 12.7, and 12.6 is available. The patch introduces a replacement for Java Web Start. Download the latest patch release from the Products tab of BMC EPD on the BMC Support Central website. https://www.bmc.com/support/support-central.html
