Two new walkthroughs guide you through the process of cleaning up the database while the BMC BladeLogic Server Automation (BSA) Application Server is running. These processes use an out-of-the-box Network Shell Script Job that runs an out-of-the-box Network Shell script.

The first walkthrough describes a basic DB cleanup plan that runs once a week:

The second walkthrough is intended for sites where a more forceful cleanup plan is necessary, either in a large operational environment or where large amounts of BladeLogic data have accumulated and you need to catch up on database maintenance:
