Salesforce has announced it is ending support of TLS 1.0 encryption protocol. They will be disabling production environments on March 4, 2017. For more details on this end of support announcement, please refer to the link above. Once Salesforce disables TLS 1.0, the integration between BMC Client Management 11.7 and earlier versions will no longer work with Remedyforce.
WHO IS IMPACTED?
BCM customers (OnDemand or on premise) on version 11.7 or earlier, who are integrating with Remedyforce.
WHO IS NOT IMPACTED?
Any BCM customers on versions 12.0 and higher.
Any customers using the new Remedyforce Agentless Discovery or Client Management Premium and Premium Plus features will not be impacted.
WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?
Those customers impacted should upgrade BMC Client Management to a more current version (12.0 or higher) before March 2017. If you are not sure which version you are running, go to the BCM console, select the "?" on the toolbar and you will see the version.
