In the world of SaaS today there is an increasing importance on keeping your browser up to date with the current version. Keeping your web browser up to date may seem like an unnecessary chore, but even minor updates can make a considerable difference to all sorts of factors of your browser experience. The most important reason to keep your browser up-to-date is for your own safety and security, and that of your computer. There are many different sorts of security threats that you can be subject to when you're browsing the web: identity theft, phishing sites, viruses, trojans, spyware, adware, and other sorts of malware. Many browser updates will be issued to combat just these problems.

From a Remedy As A Service perspective we encourage all customers to have a browser upgrade cycle in place to regularly update your browser at least once every 12 months. This is to ensure that as we roll out new versions of our products with new features and functionality you are best equipped to handle these changes and have the best end user experience.

To keep up to date with what versions of IE, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Safari and Mozilla Firefox we support visit https://docs.bmc.com to obtain a client compatibility matrix specific to your product.

If you have any questions around this, please do not hesitate to reach out to your BRM who will be happy to help.
