BMC Intelligent Capping for zEnterprise 3.0 added new functionality with PTF BQY2564 on October 15th, 2020. These enhancements make it easier to understand your dynamic capping environment.
With this small programming enhancement, iCap adds new MainView Explorer charts and a Container showing policy and LPAR activity and how iCap is managing them.
There are six new charts:
Displays an overview of system activity (4HRA % of DC or GCL)
LPAR or Group Overview
Displays information about a selected LPAR or capacity group over time, including the 4HRA, current MSU usage, defined capacity, and percentage of time that the LPAR was capped
Displays information about the active policy over time, including the 4HRA, MSU limit, current MSU usage, and capping percentage
Displays information about a selected sub-policy over time, including the 4HRA, MSU limit, current MSU usage, and capping percentage
Policy Breakout 4HRA
Displays a breakdown of MSU limit distribution for LPARs, capacity groups, and sub-policies (if present) in the active policy
Displays a breakdown of MSU limit distribution for LPARs and capacity groups in the selected sub-policy
And a Container showing Policy detail information:
