I knew that I was finding myself too busy to blog.... but it was only today that you haven't heard from me since early summer. If you'd like to get short posts in between the longer articles, leave a comment. I can always find time to share a few links or write a paragraph or two about something that's on my mind.

 

So, what have I been up to in the past few months?

 

Worldwide Remedy Users Group (WWRUG)

Last month, I attended WWRUG and had the opportunity to be meet with customers. I attended sessions, so that I could find out questions and challenges that our customers have with  BMC Remedy IT Service Management Suite. WWRUG celebrated the 20th anniversary of Remedy with reminiscences and a look ahead. Paul Zinn and I demonstrated the BMC documentation wiki (requires a BMC support ID) and got feedback from customers.

Both my team and our customers are excited about the documentation wiki. Customers have been thrilled that they can leave feedback comments in the wiki and get a quick response. Information developers don't often get to interact with customers, so they have been thrilled to get customer feedback and have the chance to interact. 

 

Interacting with customers

As you can see, I have been busy meeting with customers and helping my team interact with customers. When customers ask questions, we can update the documentation to answer those questions.
