emailing a discussion out seems a challenge?

Hi,

I just tried the above and it was not a great experience. After selecting the email option you then get a new panel with an email address box and options of 'add' (greyed out initially) or 'pick'. I chose pick which brings up an 'address' panel but I could not find the users I wanted to send to, e.g. Mueller (what criteria does search use)? So I found myself (dschofie) but it still would not add me to the send list. So I closed that panel and typed 'dschofie' into the main address list. That then worked and I received the expected email with thread as a PDF attachment (neat) which I then forwarded to the people I really wanted to send it to!

What am I doing wrong?

Regards

Dave

The add button on the pick dialog does not work for me in either Firefox or IE.  The search looks for a match on username, name, or email address.  It will find first name or last name, but whole matches only, not substrings.  Also, users can choose to hide their name and/or email address; so that is why you did not find Doug.

I have already put in a request with Jive to add substring searching and will create a ticket to have them fix the add button.
