BMCDN - What's happening?

Hi,

It's my first day after my holidays ... and I'm getting lost using BMCDN... what's happening?

I was used to enter into BMCDN and review all the recent content... but this section appears empty!

- where are the last/next/show all recent content (or activity) buttons gone?

- now it seems that one needs to enter in a community to see something, why?

I find BMCDN very difficult to navigate right now and also, I've a strange sensation that maybe there are posts that have been lost.
For example, where is the "Help" community now?
I've posted there at least two questions that now i'm unable to find...
And also, an old question... how can I know all the posts I've participated? Not only the discussions I've created, but also the discussions that I've answered.
This is the way I'm using to do this:
1. Enter a search criteria
It seems a must to enter something here between double quotes:
    a) "Björn" doesn't works
    b) I've to enter this.... "Kind Regards || "Best Regards" || "Hope"
2. Select All Communities
3. Enter Bjo... and select Bjorn
But I'm only getting 154 posts... where are the rest?
Normally, I end all my posts with strings like the one I mentioned before, buy I think it's not a good way to to this.
Maybe someone can help me with this doubts.
Best Regards,
Björn.

Re: BMCDN - What's happening?

The BMCDN is now part of the BMC Communities site.  The look is somewhat different with new graphics and a fixed width.  But all of the BMCDN content is still here, just moved down a level.  I understand that this causes some problems, especially with links to communities.  But overall, this is a great move, because it means that BMC has standardized on the Clearspace architecture pioneered by the BMCDN.

You can see the recent items on the BMCDN homepage: BMC Developer Networkin the Recent Content widget.  Also, you can see all new messages at the bottom of the page with the Browse -> Discussions menu item: http://communities.bmc.com/communities/main-threads.jspa

You can see all of your posts with the Your Stuff -> Discussions menu item: http://communities.bmc.com/communities/people/Bjorn?view=discussions

The feedback forum is now here: Feedback  The help/FAQ area is here: Help

Both of these are buttons on the home page (bottom right).

You can follow any commmunites, threads, users, etc. that you want, either with email or RSS.  On most screens except the overview tabs of the community pages, you will see an Actions widget.  On there will be a Notifications section where you can setup email notifications and see the RSS feeds available.  You can see your current list of notifications under Your Stuff -> Profile -> Email Notifications: http://communities.bmc.com/communities/people/Bjorn?view=watches

Another helpful page is the communities list, available in the Browse -> Communities menu item: http://communities.bmc.com/communities/community

This lets you see the entire hierarchy of the site for easy navigation.
