Portal Events into BEM

Could someone please tell me if I am missing something here.

I am trying to send the agentless portal events through to BEM.

The BEM server name is bmcevent, and the cell name is bmcevent.

 

I have set the iiws config within the portal to reflect the correct info and a test succeeds and the evnts is viewable within the BEM IX.

 

I have also set the mcell.dir within the webservices dir to the following :

 

cell WSCELL mc bmcevent:19999

cell bmcevent mc bmcevent:1828

 

and set the mcell.dir within the server/etc dir to :

 

 

 

cell bmcevent mc bmcevent:1828

cell BII4Patrol_pnpbmc2 mc pnpbmc2:4097

cell WSCELL mc bmcevent:19999

 

I restarted the iiws and bmcevent cell, but dont get any events coming through to IX from the Portal??

 

Any ideas?

What is the version of Portal and IX you are using..

I am using IX version 7.3.00 and Portal version see attached. Portal Version 2.6.50

While you have established IIWS and got a test event, have you established notifcations in Portal for when to send a threshold breach to IIWS?

There's two sections,

Login as superadmin, go to Notifications under Provider Tab. in Notification Servers you can configure IIWS server include the port number, user and cell name.

Then login as user, go to Notifications under Configure Tab. in Notification Rules you can Manage Rules for notifying event from BPM to BEM.

Thanks for all the responses guys. I figured out yesterday that I had not yet setup a notification rule to send events for iiws , after doing that, whalla, all events going through to BEM
