adapter events to multiple cells?

i have a requirement for sending TCP adapter events to multiple cells, is it possible?

i have made modifications to servername found under MCELL_HOME\etc\mclient.conf with cell1:cell2, will this work?

Re: adapter events to multiple cells?

You can send the events to one cell, and, using propagation policies or rules, distribute them to others. An adapter can send its events to one cell only.

BTW: Isn't there a way to suppress absent messages like the one above, which come from time to time from BMC folks?

Re: adapter events to multiple cells?

Why not run both cells as an H/A (High Availability) pair? In this case, the adapter will send its events always to a running cell (primary; if it fails, backup). Both cells must have the same KB, so the same propagation rules will apply and adapter event distribution will always occur as expected. We have a similar configuration here in our office.
