Business Value The Seamless Technologies integration of Microsoft® Operations Manager (MOM2000 & MOM 2005) to BMC® Performance Manager gives organizations unprecedented visibility and management of their IT infrastructure. With the integration, organizations now are able to forward MOM events through to BMC Performance Manager, and therefore PEM, enabling joint BMC Software and Microsoft customers to better manage and understand how MOM events affect the business. Solution Value Once the Integration is installed, new MOM alerts are periodically retrieved by the Integration. The Integration translates the alert into an interpretable BMC event and then forwards that event into BMC Performance Manager Agent's Event repository.
