Can you give me an advise, which OS user that will execute or access script on executing remote action function on BEM?

is it possible to change the user who access the script?

Rule or Policy to suppress warning event

Hi Guys,

Do you have any sample mrl or policy that I can refer?

I need to suppress warning event while the critical event exist.

the condition:

BPM sent warning event A to BEM, BEM has 1 warning event A

BPM sent critical event A to BEM, BEM has 1 critical event A. So there's 2 events.

We do have time out policy to close the warning events.

Warning event A is closed due to time out policy, and the critical event A still exist.

BPM sent critical event A to BEM (different parameter value), BEM still has 1 critical event A (recurrence policy for critical).

* BPM sent warning event A to BEM (parameter value is below), BEM has 1 warning event A

I want this warning event to be suppressed since the critical event is still open.

How to change Service Component Class for Service Model Component?

Hi All,

I have a Service Model(s) (SIM only, no CMDB) that needs to have its components in sync (changed) with one another. For example, we have "Application" Classes that we would like to change to "Application Service" Classes. What is suggested way for doing this modification (~50-75 components), Data Table modify, mposter, ...?

When I try to publish a service model with SME, the following message is returned:

"Another publish request is ongoing"

How can I stop a pending publish request?

Hi All,

We want to use BEM to capture syslog messages from network devices, how to setup such adapter? I need some detail instruction, thanks in advance.

BMC manual said there a sample perl program syslogdmap.pl located in $MCELL_HOME\lib, but I didn't find it, any idea?

PEM integration to ServiceCenter Solution

DOes anyone still have the old PEM integration with Service Center called PiSC for short? I am looking for a copy. Specifically for the AIX platform if possible. But if you have available for any platform, that might help. Thanks.

facet parse=no

Is it possible to read/evaluate a slot that is defined with facet parse=no??

I want to read or evaluate a list_of slot mc_propagations using the execute rule. If the mc_propagations changes or contains a particular value in the list, I want to do an action block.

However, I am unable to read or grab any of the values in the list. I think it is because of the facet parse=no defined for this slot. Is that accurate?? Can I not even read a slots contents if the slot has a facet of parse=no? I don't want to change anything in the slot. I just want to read the contents.
