delete operation for incident ticket

Hello, everyone

I just setupped the Service Desk 7.5.01 applications and I am working on integrate the first step in incident management process with other application.

As reading the Remedy IT Service Management 7.0 integrations white paper, it only talks about submit, modify or query incident ticket with different forms.

Buf if I want to delete a specific incident ticket, on which form do I need to operate? HPD:IncidentInterface_Create or HPD:IncidentInterface or HPD:Help Desk?

Btw, is there a integration guide white paper specific for Remedy Service Desk 7.5.01?

SRM:RequestInterface_Create no save button

maybe this has been addressed before or its common knowledge.. but..

in the SRM:RequestInterface_Create form i cant find a save button anywhere...

if im not wrong... this form is used to create requests... its an interface form right? just like incident interface_create

Business process in SRD

Hi All,

I have attached a CI in the business service field for a SRD....I have enabled th check box to create business process...But how do i test this .....On saving and deploying the SRD ...how do i test it as to how the business process will work ?? Is there any other cionfiguration to be done....

Any help would be appreciated......

SRD level approval

hi all,

I have created a new approval process from Approval
process configuration form and i have made all the other OOTB approval process offline.I have enabled SRD level approval proocess.

what does the phase name in that form signify??? i have mapped the approvers using approvers mapping.But whn i deploy my SRD it still uses SRD adhoc approval process.Y is this so ?? Any help would be appreciated.....Thanks..

Good morning everyone,

I'm receiving that error message in BMC Portal 2.5.0.0 (RSMs the same version, having latest patches). Performance Manager for Windows is version 2.5.02.

Detailed message looks like:

Failed to connect to WMI host: Account_name{auth:}:\\server_name\root\cimv2 (Win32 error code = 1722:The RPC server is unavailable.
):patsdk-wmi Failed to connect to WMI host: Account_name{auth:}:\\server_name\root\default (Win32 error code = 1722:The RPC server is unavailable.A
): (WMI Method Paramlet)

All servers are Windows 2003 64bit. I think that 64 bit might causing that problem, but would like to hear something more from you guys, something which is not only assumption:)

BTW Does above PM is capable to handle Windows 2008 64bit servers? Or we need another one?

Viewing change request details from the approver console

Several customers have mentioned to me that when they are viewing an approval in the approval console, they can no longer drill down into the change to see FULL details. They say that the information available is not sufficient, and after seeing it, I'm inclined to agree. I seem to remember being able to do that in earlier versions, and don't understand why that is no longer a feature. Is this in fact the case, or is there a way to view the change record you are approving from the approval itself?

Remedy Client 7.5 Patch 3 Silent Install

I am having an issue with the Silent install where it does not install the client on the users machine.

X windows Client - install ARS 7.5 in Solaris

Hi,

I have palns to install AR S7.5 in solaris box.

Earlier, i installed 7.1 in Solaris using Command prompt/Telent.

Now i nstallation doucment syas it require X windows clients in local desktop to install.

Please let me know what is this and which the recommended X windows Client ?

It is OK if I install ARS 75 in solaris using terminal / telnet sessions?

Proactivenet apache server-status

I'm trying to set up a Proactivenet 7.7sp2 monitor on the local apache instance (bundled in Proactivenet) and it appears that BMC broke the apache so it can't be monitored fully using the BMC Proactivenet apache monitor. What am I missing? I've gone through the neccesary config area to enable the status module but I can't get it working. Has anyone gotten this to work?

ProactiveNet Monitor Wizard - WMI

I'm trying to configure a Windows Management Instrumentation monitor.

But when I try to load the namespaces I get an error.

I'm also getting this error at the same time on the remote server. (The one I want to monitor with the WMI monitor)

From that error I found that I need to specify the authentication level to Packet Privacy, but I have no idea how to do that or if it's even possible to do with ProactiveNet agents...

Anyone else ever got that error and know what to do?
